Review

F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin is the sequel of the acclaimed game F.E.A.R. The game is set 30 minutes before the ending of the first game. In this case, you play the role of Delta Force operative, Michael Becket. In the beginning of the game, you are pointed as one of the few men that can stop the supernatural being Alma. Alma is the cause of a paranormal crisis that engulfed the world from the first game. This is a first person shooter game with a great paranormal storyline. The first warning that must be issued is that this is not for the weak of heart people, this game will scare you plenty. That tension adds an extra element to this great game. The graphics in this game is not beautiful, in fact it should not be. But it is really scaring as it should be. You will find the same elements of the first game in here, such as slow-motion combat and hand to hand combat. The AI is wickedly smart in here. This game is good, it is a perfect follow-up to the already great F.E.A.R, but beware: it is scary.
Advantages
  • Scaring atmosphere, great gaming.
Disadvantages
  • Unresolved bugs.
